Definition:
Advocacy
Acting on behalf of and in support of victims/survivors of sexual assault and/or domestic abuse to ensure their interests are represented and their rights upheld, including legal and medical advocacy.

You have rights under the law and Tri-County Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault offers free, confidential advocacy services for victims of crimes. Advocacy Day Services are offered 5 days a week.

  • Advocacy Day Services.Legal Advocacy, criminal justice support, assistance with Judicare and crime victim compensation
  • Supportive Services, Medical and Personal Advocacy
  • Safety planning, information and referrals
